Hello! My name is Danecy Guzman and I am a wedding and event planner. I began event planning seven years ago and have absolutely loved it ever since! I attended the University of North Alabama in Florence, Alabama and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Event Management. My minor is in Business Management and loved working on special events throughout my time at UNA. I had the pleasure of completing my internship at Barcelo Bavaro Grand Resorts Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. I worked in weddings and special events during my time there and loved getting to learn from the best in the hospitality industry. I have gained event experience through my employment at The Stricklin Hotel and Sweetwater Depot in Florence, AL.  Additionally, I worked at the Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa as an Assistant Event Operations Manager and am currently working at the Huntsville Marriott at the Space & Rocket Center as the Catering Sales Manager. I am incredibly thankful that I have been able showcase my expertise in weddings and events through my education and work experiences.

I believe that planning an event should be an enjoyable experience and I hope to assist you in any way that you need.
